Trailers, extraits, hĂ©las The Suicide Squad fait partie de ces titres dont on a trop vu le contenu avant d'en profiter sur grand Ă©cran, mais n'ayez crainte, le plaisir reste au rendez-vous avec de quoi vous surprendre. La Suicide Squad est de retour ! Enfin ce qu'il en reste aprĂšs le film de David Ayer, c'est Ă  dire... deux personnages ? Harley Quinn Margot Robbie et Captain Boomerang Jai Courtney. Qu'importe, l'univers DC est rempli d'Ă©tranges mĂ©chants plus ou moins vicieux capables d'Ă©tonnants exploits avant de connaitre une fin brutale. Amanda Waller Viola Davis, toujours aussi incroyablement flippante n'a qu'Ă  se pencher pour ramasser ces rebuts et les envoyer se faire tuer au service des Etats-Unis d'Amerique /salute. Et cette fois, l'idĂ©e est vraiment d'en avoir plein, pour que les dĂ©cĂšs soudains soient aussi intĂ©ressants chez les anti-hĂ©ros que chez les mĂ©chants. Remarquez que quasiment tout le monde est plutĂŽt mĂ©chant dans The Suicide Squad, sauf une faction, qui est idiote. Bien entendu, Hollywood oblige, impossible de ne pas passer Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de quelques bons sentiments pour boucler l'histoire. De plus, la noirceur totale tant espĂ©rĂ©e par les fans de DC et les pro-Snyder est tempĂ©rĂ©e par un humour sarcastique, qui n'est pas tout Ă  fait l'humour Marvel quoi qu'on en dise moins de vannes et de rĂ©pliques, plus de situations, mais qui clairement place toute la licence sous le signe de la grosse dĂ©connade. Le cĂŽtĂ© punk de James Gunn permet un excellent Ă©quilibre entre violence et humour, et si le scĂ©nario tient dans un tweet, le rĂ©alisateur prend son temps pour railler le patriotisme amĂ©ricain, l'ingĂ©rence des Etats-Unis et ses secrets honteux - les lanceurs d'alerte sont Ă  l'honneur. Le message est simple, pas trop lourdement appuyĂ©, et toujours bon Ă  prendre. Mais nous, on est lĂ  pour le casting et voir des gens mourir. Attention, le film est bien gore - pas de sexe, pas de drogue, mais plusieurs cours d'anatomie intĂ©ressants -. On a droit Ă  des morts spectaculaires, des morts ridicules, des morts chorĂ©graphiĂ©es, des morts sales, des morts surprises, des morts surprises Ă©ventĂ©es, des morts lentes, des morts qu'on regrette un peu... Margot Robbie s'en donne Ă  coeur joie de retour en Harley Quinn, la Super Anti-HĂ©roĂŻne qui n'a plus besoin de personne. Son jeu n'Ă©volue pas Ă©normĂ©ment ici, tout comme son personnage, mais le boulot est fait. Idris Elba est naturellement bon dans la peau de Bloodsport, mais le personnage est un peu trop lisse pour lui, sauf quand il se confronte au Peace Maker de John Cena, qui pour le coup est simplement parfait. Daniela Melchior a un peu de mal Ă  convaincre en Ratcatcher 2 et James Gunn aurait dĂ» renforcer certains de ses traits pour rendre le personnage plus intĂ©ressant, ce qui n'est pas nĂ©cessaire pour Polka-dot Man, rĂ©ussi Ă  tous les niveaux jusqu'Ă  l'interprĂ©tation du nouveau chouchou d'Hollywood aprĂšs cette prestation, David Dastmalchian. VerdictThe Suicide Squad repose clairement avant tout sur son casting - guest stars et rĂ©vĂ©lations incluses -. Evidemment c'est un roster de personnages qui s'amoindrit rapidement avec le dĂ©roulĂ© du film, qui n'hĂ©site pas Ă  Ă©purer les rangs trĂšs rapidement, mais qui surprend beaucoup moins sur la fin. Pendant les deux tiers de The Suicide Squad, on a envie que l'action et les gags ne s'arrĂȘtent jamais. Puis la production de James Gunn doit boucler tout cela et provoque un petit coup de mou, avec un combat final un peu longuet car trop prĂ©visible. L'ensemble reste tout de mĂȘme extrĂȘmement rĂ©jouissant, et sonne comme le vrai premier blockbuster de l'Ă©tĂ©, qu'on aura envie de revoir plus d'une fois ! TrĂšs bon MĂ©lange parfait d'humour et de violence avec un scĂ©nario lĂ©ger mais punk Ă  souhait, The Suicide Squad est le divertissement qu'on voudra typiquement voir plusieurs fois avec plaisir.
